PRODUCTS - ATR CHASSIS
NOVA Integration Solutions (NIS) specializes in the design, manufacture,
test/validation, and system integration of highly specialized hardened
embedded computers including ATR Chassis and mission critical,
turn-key embedded and portable computing solutions. These highly
reliable hardware platforms are typically subjected to extremely harsh
environmental conditions, such as high shock/vibration, altitude, extreme
temperature ranges, EMI/RFI, HEMP, nuclear/chemical survivability, salt,
fog, humidity, water, sand/dust, and explosive atmospheres.
All new work leverages previous designs and are built to meet customers
specifications utilizing various cooling methods based on the intended
application. The more intense applications may require using Carbon
Fiber Technology for enclosure design which greatly reduces weight,
increases strength, increases thermal conductivity, and more! System
integration can vary in levels of complexity and completeness.
Compatibility of the whole system is taken into consideration from
part selection to backplane design to system level testing.
While most designs follow ARINC 404A standard sizes and utilize
Eurocard based plug-in boards, some customization is always
required. Whether a custom backplane is needed to transfer
additional high speed signals or a cooling baseplate is necessary
to transfer heat away from critical components, NIS’s experienced
staff can quickly make these design changes.
