PRODUCTS - RCOTS CHASSIS
NOVA Integration Solution’s line Rugged COTS (RCOTS) Chassis build off the Premium COTS
Chassis platform and are designed to be a highly reliable
hardware platform and power solution, as they typically
are subjected to extremely harsh environmental conditions,
such as high shock/vibration, extreme temperature ranges,
EMI/RFI, etc. Like the COTS Chassis line,
all rackmount chassis are equipped with
IEEE-1101.1 compliant backplanes
and an optional System Health
Monitor (SM) can be installed to
locally or remotely monitor and control
chassis parameters, such as fan speed,
temperature, and system voltages to ensure
optimal operating conditions.
Ruggedization is achieved through the use of stronger/thicker
metal enclosures, shock mounting of internal components,
power filtering, air filtering, heating and cooling solutions, use
of higher quality components, etc...
Customization is available on all RCOTS
Chassis models. Like the Premium
COTS Chassis line, all RCOTS
Chassis can be equipped
with field replaceable fan
trays, System Health Monitor,
peripherals (hard drives, optical
drives, etc.), various backplanes
and active motherboards
(ATX/Server), etc. Please

Environmental Specifications
The following specifications sub-set are standard for all RCOTS Chassis
models (some variations may occur per model):
