Inspired by NASA for use on their specially configured 747 fleet,
Model 1400 is NOVA’s newest
designed-to-meet MIL spec color
laser printer.
Built around Hewlett Packard’s
LaserJet CP1518ni print engine, the 1400 builds on its predecessor
with faster print speed, upgraded USB port, built-in Ethernet port, high resolution
interpolated print output, lower power consumption, front
panel status LCD display and controls. Toner and drum consumables
used in the 1400 are standard HP replacements.
Paper ingress is handled elegantly through a large, sealed, hinged access
door on the front of the printer housing; paper egress is accessed from
a similar door atop the housing; a hinged rear door facilitates clearing of
occasional paper jams.
Standard mounting configurations for the 1400 include Tabletop, DO-
160 ARINC Shock Tray, and 19 inch Rackmount; power input options
include 115 VAC, 220 VAC, or 18-36 VDC.
Available options include
extended temperature
range, front panel
indicators, sealed housing
for environmental rating,
and I/O connectors.
